Graph theory & combinatorics (II)
////////////////////////////////////////////

The emphasis will be on geometric and topological combinatorics. The course will be aim to be almost completely self contained --- there are no real prerequisites other than undergraduate linear algebra and modern algebra, although knowledge of basic graph theory and topology will be helpful. This class may be of particular interest to graduate students studying combinatorics, geometric group theory, algebraic geometry, or algebraic topology. We will survey some of the most important theorems in this rapidly developing area of combinatorics, pointing out many open problems along the away.
